We Need to Talk About This
I’m going to assume that Gina’s son set him straight, but if anyone else believes this, listen up. Most girls start their periods between the ages of 9-14, but some can start it much later or never at all. No one truly has any idea when it will, as even generational anecdotes can be wrong.

The truth is, even some women don’t quite know how it works! If we were more open about it and held dialogue, it would be less scary for everyone involved. Young girls shouldn’t expect to have it at a certain age, nor should they be alarmed if it doesn’t arrive. Everyone’s body works differently.
