#6: Pre-Madonna
I have to admit to being guilty of this next one at one point in my life, too. To be fair, “prima donna” is not a word that the average child comes across very often, in writing or otherwise. I only knew it because of the Phantom of the Opera soundtrack.

And to be fair again, there was a time in the 80s when Madonna was a sort of universal queen. I think there are fans of hers who probably would be happy to measure time against the release of her 1983 debut album: “I was born twelve years pre-Madonna.” I don’t know about you, but I think it could catch on.
