For some reason, it’s perfectly acceptable for women to have long showers. Still, guys don’t have nearly the same amount of social legitimacy to stand under the warm water and slowly lather, scrub, and rinse themselves without some suspicion being raised as to the true nature of their activities.

So we’d like to say this loud and clear to all of you suspicious women out there: We’re doing the same thing in there that you’re doing: standing under the warm water, thinking about every event in our lives, and quaking with fear at the thought of stepping out into the cold air.
